Mr. Lex de Kok

Lex de Kok specialises in both public and private law.

He started in 1992 in project development and construction law and has gradually expanded his activities to include administrative law and environmental law. An important part of his practice consists of advising companies and local authorities in these areas and elucidating the connection between them. Within these areas he deals with expropriation and procurement law. He is also expert in new developments such as the translation of sustainability, circular construction in the tender and contract phase and smart buildings.

He has a strong client focus and guides clients through often complex transactions and processes. His expertise also includes litigation in these areas of law.

Prior to joining Bavelaar & Bavelaar Advocaten Rechtsanwälte, Lex was a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig LLP and subsequently at Rechtstaete, real estate lawyers & tax advisers.

Lex studied Dutch law and notarial law at the University of Amsterdam. He is a member of the Association for Construction Law and the Association for Environmental Law.
