Mr. Wolfgang Walter Horn

Wolfgang Walter Horn successfully completed his major State examination in law in February 1981 and since then he has run an independent practice as an attorney-at-law (Rechtsanwalt) in Hamburg. He has also been active as a lawyer in Amsterdam since 2015. He specialises in advising Dutch clients on cross-border legal matters throughout Germany. Mr. Horn also litigates on behalf of Dutch clients in Germany.

His activities focus on the areas of damage and liability law, economic criminal law and employment law for companies and entrepreneurs.

In addition, Wolfgang is one of the few lawyers with a specialism in traffic law and old-timer law. Old-timer law covers all legal questions relating to classic cars.

Wolfgang grew up with horses and was an active show jumper and horse owner from an early age until a few years ago. In recent decades he has developed into one of the best-known lawyers specialising in equine law. Within Bavelaar Advocaten he works closely together with Paul Bavelaar, who as an active jumping rider is also a specialist in Dutch equine law. Wolfgang is therefore a highly qualified contact in equestrian legal affairs in Germany.

Wolfgang is a member of well-known legal and equestrian organisations, including the Law and Tax Commission of the German-Dutch Chamber of Commerce, the Deutsche Akademie für Verkehrswissenschaft e.V. and the F.F.P. Verein zur Förderung der Forschung im Pferdesport e.V.
